About The Careers Lab

I'm Steph, founder of The Careers Lab, a career and leadership coach with over a decade of experience supporting professionals through growth, change, and transition. 

I've spent much of my career working within technology consultancies and high-growth organisations, supporting businesses and individuals through periods of rapid expansion, acquisition, and transformation. This experience has given me a deep understanding of the pace and pressure of modern working life - and the impact it can have on confidence, clarity, and decision-making.

My background spans the full talent lifecycle, including attraction, development, performance, and retention, giving me a holistic view of how careers are built and sustained over time. I've worked closely with professionals at all stages, from early careers through to senior leadership, helping them navigate uncertainty and make confident, intentional decisions about their next steps.

My coaching approach is thoughtful, practical, and grounded in real-world experience. Rather than focusing on quick fixes, I create space for clarity, reflection, and confidence-building - supporting people to move forward with greater self-belief and direction in their working lives.
